Thomas G. Gragnola MD serves as Medical Director at the Portland Interhospital Physicians Association (IPA), and practices Internal Medicine at GreenField Health in Portland, Oregon.
He attended Georgetown Medical School and Internal Medicine Residency at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, where he served as Chief Resident in Medicine. He began his clinical and academic practice at the Providence Internal Medicine Residency Program and Ambulatory Care Clinic, where he served as an Associate Program Director and Chair of Utilization Management Committee, leading efforts to balance the challenges of teaching within a managed care environment. After transitioning to private practice at Fanno Creek Clinic in Portland, he helped successfully guide the clinic to NCQA Medical Home recognition. He joined GreenField Health in June 2012, and maintains a busy clinical practice. In his role as Medical Director at the Portland IPA, he lends clinical expertise and insight to the IPA team as they promote numerous quality initiatives and clinical integration across a diverse spectrum of practicing clinicians in the Portland medical community.
